If so, the variable for the product name should be the %title% variable.

Yes, that works but partly. When the products are shown somewhere else. (Homepage or etc) it shows the title of the page, not the product. Maybe it will be a good idea to implement a tag which is %product_title%?

Rank Math does not modify the data of individual image in your database. The alt tags are applied on the fly (the parameter you defined inside the settings for eg. %title%) when the content is displayed on the page. If the %product_title% attribute you want inside every image for the posts, then this would eat a lot of resources.
With that being said, there are existing feature requests, If your suggestions are something that we’re able to introduce, I’ll be sure to let you know.

You can have a look at other alternative variables to which you can use in these image SEO fields such as the alt and title.
Do note that the stored content is not changed even after applying these options.

Also, you do not have to have them applied on every page as dynamically generated pages will not apply these changes. They only apply to pages whose images are within the WP editor section.

What I mean by the ” WP editor section” is that the images within the post/page content section are the ones that are considered and Rank Math can help you automate the process of adding them.
Take for example an image in this section: https://i.rankmath.com/HuoGzt
If the alt text is missing from the images added using your theme or another plugin, you will need to edit the PHP files for that. Please get in touch with your theme provider and they will be able to provide you with exact instructions on that.

The idea was to add the missing alt information on the product images because we have more than 7000 items with at least 2-3-4 images on each. (We have more than 5 stores.)
The only problem we are facing is that we can’t fix it on pages that get the products for some reason. (it gives false information) If there was a possibility to stop the alt text from Rankmath on some pages that would be great but yeah.
This ticket can be close if there isn’t such a feature/fix.

We currently do not have a way to disable the tests done here. The best way would be to individually check these images that have been mentioned by SEO analysis to be missing the alt text. If they do not have then they must be inserted manually.
Also, it could happen if there are external plugins meant for image optimization recreating your images without these attributes.
