Hi. I’m rebuilding my site as it’s very old, so it’ll be a whole new wordpress environment.

There’s lot that I want to leave behind, but the work I’ve done in Yoast is something I’d like to keep. Can you help me do that, please?

    Kind regards
    Adam

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

The transition from Yoast should be quite smooth with no data loss. You will need to install Rank Math when Yoast is already activated and then head over to Rank Math > Import / Export and you will find an option to migrate all your Yoast Settings to Rank Math. Once the import process completes, you can safely deactivate Yoast, and Rank Math will be automatically be populated with your previous SEO settings.
Please note that the data is also backed up in your database and you can easily roll back should any issues come up.

Hope that helps. Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Thanks. I found your article on that previously.

But I want to migrate from yoast on one wordpress environment to the same website on another wordpress environment.

I could activate rankmath where yoast is active but need that rankmath setup to end up on the new website.

    Hello,

In that case, you can export the Yoast data and import it to Yoast in the new WordPress setup. Further, if you wish to import the data to Rank Math, then you can follow this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/yoast-seo-migration/

You can get in touch with Yoast support to export the data fully.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.
