Migrate from Migrate from Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP

    Hi, currently I have all my schemas customized with Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP.

    If I install Rank Math Pro and uninstall this plugin, what will happen with my current schemas?

    Will Rank Math generate “Article” schemas again for all my posts and keep the same format? It’s pretty much the basic one, with Title, URL, Image, Author, Organization, Published Date, Published Updated, etc. Also, what will happen with the FAQ schema and the custom ones I have created for a few posts with this plugin if I switch to Rank Math? Do I have to review all schemas manually?

    Is there a chance things will go wrong if I do this switch?

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    We currently don’t have an option to import the Schema data from the Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP plugin. However, our plugin will take care of the Article Schema and will add it to all of your posts once you set it as a default Schema in the Titles & Meta settings of our plugin.

    For the FAQs, the Free version of our plugin can only add the FAQ Schema using the FAQ blocks. So you will have to add the FAQs again using the FAQ block to apply the FAQ Schema of our plugin: https://rankmath.com/kb/faq-schema-block/#adding-faq-blocks-in-rank-math

    In the PRO version, you can add the FAQ Schema directly to the posts using the Schema generator. You can also use the Schema importer of our plugin to import the current Schema and apply it to your posts: https://rankmath.com/kb/import-schema-from-url/

    If you want, you can keep using the Schema & Structured Data plugin to add the Schema and use the other features of our plugin for optimization. Please make sure to disable the Schema module of our plugin if you decide to keep using your current plugin for the Schema.
