Meta Description & Pinterest Rich Pin Are Not Showing Up Correctly

    Problem 1): Google did not show my latest meta description in the searched result although it has been changed since about a month time ago, it did show correctly in the source page but not on the searched result.

    Problem 2): I’m not sure if this problem is related. Although I have validated my website for Pinterest Rich Pin and have filled in all the information in Rich Snippet, all my pins still did not show up as Rich Pin on Pinterest

    1). Google sometimes does not honor the titles and descriptions that you have updated. I would suggest that you submit an outdated content removal request to Google so that they can remove the affected post from the cache.

    2). Rank Math plugin adds the necessary markup for rich snippets. It may take some time before they show up in the search results, please allow a few days for the search engines to pick up the information.

    Hi, thank you for your reply and help.

    1. For problem 1, I will try your proposed method and see how it goes.

    2. For the Pinterest Rich Pin, I have already enabled & validated the Rich Pin more than 3 weeks, but it still has not shown up as Rich Pin in Pinterest yet.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the additional info and apologies for the delay.

    This may take from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. If you inspect the page source you will notice that Rank Math has already added the OG type : article on the posts and thus these are ready and the rich pins will be available on Pinterest soon.
