Meta Description Not Writing To Source

    Hi,
    We have set the meta description at the page level in Rank Math. However for the home page only it is not showing the meta description in the source which is now affecting how this page is showing in the serps. This always used to be correct, but has changed over the last week or so and we have made no adjustments to the website in this time. When I check the source code, the description is what is showing in Google but NOT what is set in Rank Math.
    Any help will be appreciated.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    It looks like you have both Yoast and Rank Math activated on your site which could be counterproductive to your SEO. Could you please disable Yoast and check whether the same problem will be reproduced?
    It would also help if you could share some screenshots of how you have configured the meta description on the backend so that we can advise further.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the reply. Its odd as that was disabled when we installed Rank Math. I suspect someone else has enabled it again.
    However, i have disabled it and the source code issue still remains.
    In the sensitive data element i have added some screen shots for you for the meta description settings.

    Please click on “Edit Snippet” and copy the same text into the “meta description” field as shown below to fix this:
