  • Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you’re facing issues with your meta description not matching the search results. It can be frustrating when Google chooses a different meta description than the one you’ve provided.

It’s true that Google ultimately decides which meta description to display, and it can sometimes choose an alternative description based on the search query. However, there are some best practices you can follow to increase the chances of Google using your provided meta description.

Firstly, ensure that your meta description is relevant, useful, and of high quality. Avoid just using a collection of keywords and make sure it accurately summarizes the content of the page.

Additionally, make sure that each meta description is unique and not duplicated across a large number of pages.

If you’ve already followed these best practices and are still experiencing issues, it might be helpful to review the length of your meta description. The ideal length for a meta description is around 155-160 characters to ensure that it displays properly in search results.
