  • Hello,

We’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with your meta description not showing in the search results. We understand the importance of having accurate meta descriptions for your website.

To address this issue, we recommend checking the following:

    1. Ensure that the meta description you have set is actually what is shown in your page’s source.
    2. Check when Google’s cache was last updated for the page to confirm if Google has picked up on the changes.
    3. Verify that your schema settings are valid and that the SEO title and description are properly set up via Rank Math.

If you have already carried out these checks and are still facing issues, it’s possible that Google may choose to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword. This can happen when Google ignores the custom meta information and shows something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

In the robots meta settings, you have set the max-snippet to 22 which means that Google can only use 22 characters from the meta description.

We always recommend setting those to -1 which means unlimited and letting Google use as many characters as it wants.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Hello,
