  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I checked your website and currently, you have 2 meta descriptions and that might have confused the search engine.

Please ensure that Rank Math is the one handling the meta description and remove that duplicated one. To determine which plugin or theme that is causing the duplicate meta description tag, you may follow this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

After removing the second meta description tag, let Google crawl your website again and see if this improves the description on the SERP.

Looking forward to helping you on this one.

Thank you for your mail reply.

I have followed the article. No, any plugin is disturbing each other but still, I do not get the idea why it is not working for my side. Can you please help me out?

    Hello,

This is likely being added by your theme and not any other plugin on the website.

We would recommend getting in touch with the theme provider and asking them if they generate the description meta tag and if so how to disable it.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Hello,
