MathRank plugin causing issue between Divi builder and WP media library.

    Hello –

    On my site https://marchgallery.org/ the MathRank plugin was breaking the connection between the Divi builder and the wordpress media library. In order to add images to pages using the divi builder I had to deactivate MathRank.

    The problem seems to have started after I updated Divi theme to version 4.9.2. The MathRank plugin was updated to the newest version. I tried rolling back MathRank to an earlier version. This fixed the issue temporarily – I was able to connect to the media library within Divi Builder. But after about a week, the the Divi builder could not connect with the media library again. I had not updated MathRank since the rollbock. I deactivated MathRank again and the issue disappeared.

    Not sure what to do now. I’d like to continue using MathRank on my site but not sure which version I should use in order to avoid this issue. Is this a problem you’re finding with other sites using Divi 4.9.2?

    I was not able to replicate this on my end. It would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins you are using.

    To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    If the issue persists, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Thanks for getting back.

    I checked and wasn’t able to replicate the issue on your site. I was able to access the Media Gallery and add images to your existing and the new pages without any issues. Please check the screencast that I have attached in the sensitive data section.

    Please check on your end and if the issue persists then please record a video screencast while replicating the issue and share it with us. You can use a tool like https://loom.com/ to record and share the screencast.

    Hello,

    Could you please try to update Divi to the latest version and see if that helps fix the issue?

    The reason we ask that is that the latest versions of Divi have included several fixes and the integration with Rank Math, so this might a case of just updating Divi to make everything work fine.
