    Rank Math free

    Hi,

All of our websites are ranking really low with rankmath. We have used wix before, but have now switched to wordpress and rankmath. Currently all of our client pages has fallen of the first page, even thoug we have 100 seo score on google lighthouse, over 85 on the rankmath page score, and over 90% in the semrush site audit. We are strongly considering moving to Yoast, but figured that we could reach out here first to see if you can help.

  • Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

Ranking on Google depends on so much more than just your on-page optimization. You could have the perfect article and still struggle to break the top 10 in SERPs. Here are some of the factors Google considers when ranking you:

    1. Your website’s authority

    2. Your content’s quality and how better it is than the other article currently ranking.

    3. How competitive the keyword is.

    4. How many backlinks you have and if they are better than what the other guys ranking for that keyword have.

    5. Your website’s crawlability.

    6. Frequency of new content and content updates.

    7. So much more that there is a dedicated blog post on it by Brian Dean 🙂

I hope that helps. Please let us know if there’s anything else you need our assistance with. More than happy to help.

    Thank you.

We know all of this, but we have the exact same wbesite as we did, and as soon as we switched to RankMath, the websites fell off the search results. So we know we have quality, and authority, and so on.

    Hello,

If you moved recently, you can revert back to your older plugin and follow these instructions for confirming if everything moved over correctly?
    https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/reviews/rank-math/

That will ensure and rule out if changing an SEO plugin or some option is the culprit here.

    Hope that helps. Thank you.

We moved from wix to wordpress, so we don’t want to switch back to wix. We haven’t used another plugin before.

    Hello,

In that case, did you plan the migration and confirmed if the URL structure remained the same after moving over to WordPress?

Here are the 2 guides that cover the migration in detail:

    Hope that helps. Thank you.

Yes we did, and the ones that we had to change, we used 301 redirection.

    Hello,

Since your site is already indexed, could you please share some of the keywords you are trying to rank your site with so we can check from our end.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
