Lottie files and Rank Math

    Hi, during design I added a Lottie element and found my page slowed to a crawl – hard to scroll and everything just turned VERY slow. I tried Lottie elements from Elementor and Premium Addons for Elementor and had the same slowdown each time I added the Lottie file link to the element – https://assets1.lottiefiles.com/packages/lf20_rwqsNq.json

    I found that by deactivating Rank Math everything works fine – normal speed with Lottie inserted. Enabling Rank Math and inserting the Lottie element – slow again.

    Sounds like an incompatibility, hoping you can review.

    Could you please confirm if you’re using the latest version of Rank Math, and your other plugins?

    Thank you – wow, great system! Also, appreciate the temporary login hint – thought this was going to be harder.

    I can confirm everything is up to date, and there is still a huge slow down in my “home” page when a Lottie is inserted and Rank Math is Activated. I’ve been de-activating Rank Math to make changes, re-activating later

    I tried adding lottie element on an elementor page (and uploaded the lottie json file as well) and my browser doesn’t seem to slow down.

    Could you please provide a detailed steps on how to replicate the issue you are experiencing? Or, if it still seems I am missing something, sharing a screencast from your end would save us all the time in trying to replicate the issue.

    Also, the conflict could be stemming from Premium Addons for Elementor as this is the plugin that provides a lottie element. Can you contact the support folks from this plugin and see if they have already encountered this issue before? See if they may be able to offer a fix.

    Hi and thank you. Your screencast clearly shows everything working smoothly. On my side, just scrolling up and down stutters/stops/goes, painfully slow doing anything and everything. It happens regardless whether I use the Lottie element from Premium Addons OR the one from Elementor.

    The only way things worked smoothly for me was when I either deleted the Lottie OR de-activated Rank Math.

    I have an i7 laptop with 16G so I wouldn’t even think it has to do with processor.

    However, when I changed the Lottie Renderer to “Canvas” instead of “SVG”, everything works smoothly for me again. Tested with both Elementor Lottie element and Premium Addons Lottie element – both elements: using “SVG”=slowdown, “Canvas”=smooth.
