Long tail keywords

Hello – I have created a new website and use long-tail keywords. However, I realize that no page is in the Google SERPS for the first 100. I use the long-tail keywords in the URL, title, and description and they also appear in the text. The texts are not really long. Google has crawled the webpages fine with the metadata. The website is for affiliated products. The website is online for 2 weeks now. RankMath score is around 80 – 90 for all pages.

Does that mean that my strategy with the long-tail keywords is not working and I should change the keywords? I created a login for you to my WordPress site. It would be very great if you could have a look and advise me.

    Thank you very much!!
    Edy

Some addition – could you please also have a look why in Elementor editor SEO tab view is blank? This is since yesterday before it was working fine.

    Hi Edy,

Please note that ranking on Google depends on so much more than just your on-page optimization. You could have the perfect article and still struggle to break the top 10 in SERPs. Here are some of the factors Google considers when ranking you:

    1. Your website’s authority

    2. Your content’s quality and how better it is than the other article currently ranking.

    3. How competitive the keyword is.

    4. How many backlinks you have and if they are better than what the other guys ranking for that keyword have.

    5. Your website’s crawlability.

    6. Frequency of new content and content updates.

    7. So much more that there is a dedicated blog post on it by Brian Dean 🙂

I would recommend that you keep at it and work on acquiring more links to break into the top SERPs.

About the Elementor tab issue, assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Please let me know if you find the culprit.

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello Todd,

Thanks for your reply. Okay I will find a way for the long tail keywords.

Regarding my second issue that RankMath is blank in the Elementor issue. It is a conflict with Ultimate Addons for Elementor. This is a plugin from Brainstorm Force. I have installed version 1.24.0. I keep it now disabled and just wanted to let you know. Perhaps RankMath can contact Brainstorm Force.

    Thanks
    Edy

    Hi

I contacted Brainstorm Force. The reply was that the latest version has a new Cross-Site Copy Paste feature and the JS conflicts with RankMath in Elementor. I just disabled that feature and now it works again.
