    Hi Team,

I did have a ticket open else where.

    I have a site ufindus.co.uk and on there it uses a theme/plugin from ListingPro – see: https://themeforest.net/item/listingpro-multipurpose-directory-theme/19386460

I need some advice and support on its compatibility with your plugin. It uses WP Bakery which I know works really well with your plugin as I have another site (poppysigns.co.uk) that uses it with no issues.

My issue with ufindus is that your plugin doesn’t pick up some of their custom changes. I would say your plugin is working at 90%. There is no conflicts, or errors when checking with the error log etc and I know your AI will ask me to check this but it doesn’t really answer my original question.

The developers of the plugin for ListingPro have refused help in making things work out of the box, and have said they don’t support any 3rd party SEO tools. What amused me is they have their own but it is only working 50% of the time as the site I have built has pages built outside of their plugin features.

The issue I am facing is that your plugin doesn’t pick up any Headings and assumes they don’t exist on some pages. This is down to the theme/plugins from ListingPro. I know they do exist but it doesn’t help when scoring pages for SEO issues/suggestions. Is this something you can help with, or is it possible to look into supporting this developer and their tools?

It be nice to have support based on their plugin having thousands of user and knowing it doesn’t support SEO plugins – which is baffling to say its a directory theme.

I have attached the issue in question:

  • Hello,

We apologize for the inconvenience you’re experiencing with the compatibility of the ListingPro theme/plugin and Rank Math. We understand that your concern is related to the plugin not picking up some custom changes made by ListingPro, and it’s affecting the SEO analysis of your pages.

Given the refusal of support from the ListingPro developers, we recommend performing a health check and troubleshooting for any plugin/theme conflicts. You can use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin to identify any conflicts that might be causing this issue. We have a dedicated knowledgebase tutorial to help you with this process, which you can find here.

If the issue persists after performing the health check, we recommend reaching out to our support team by submitting a ticket at Rank Math Support. Our team will be able to provide you with more specific guidance based on your website’s configuration and help you resolve the issue.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to assist you with this matter. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

    Kind regards

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

Please note that the theme/builder you are using is not fully compatible with Rank Math, which is why some tests are not recognized because of the way they add them to the content.

In this case, you can contact the developer of the page builder you’re using by showing the following link:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/content-analysis-api/

However, the SEO score is only for your reference and doesn’t affect the actual SEO performance of your site. If you feel any of them don’t apply to your page or you have already done them, you can safely ignore them as search engines test the live version of your site.

Alternatively, you can disable those tests as well by using the filter in this guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/disable-seo-content-tests/

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Reinelle,

    Thank you for your reply.

I leased your suggestions back to the theme authors and they have refused to support such changes.

They are not well cooperative and having serious issues with them at the moment. You are not the only plugin developer I am having to question with issues related to their theme/plugin etc.

Because of this is there any way I can do this myself? I know its only a few places that look to be effected but just wondered if it its an easy change.

As you say – it doesn’t effect the actual SEO on page, only the score given due to certain parts not being detected.

I do not want to move away from using your plugin as I have it setup on 12+ other websites and rely on it heavily due to its ease of use and how powerful it is even for the FREE version.

Any help or advise is welcome. I have stressed to them that they need to allow 3rd part SEO plugin compatibility or their theme/plugin is technically pointless with it being a directory.

    Regards

    Hello,

If they don’t want to do that, then we are sorry, but there is nothing we can do to fix this issue.

As mentioned earlier, you can ignore those tests as the headings are present in the front end and the search engines will be able to detect that even if our plugin can’t.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
