  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

Could you please share the sitemap URL so we can check as well? You can add it in the sensitive data section

It is completely secure, and only our support staff has access to that section.

Meanwhile, for initial troubleshooting, please make sure that your sitemap is not getting cached. Please follow these steps:

    1. Ensure you’re using the latest version of your plugins/theme including the Rank Math plugin.

    2. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/xXXhDt

    3. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

Let us know how this goes.

    Thank you.

    thanks for ur info.
i have updated to latest version 96 of rank math.
after some test, i find it conflict with translatepress
    1. when the translatepress is on, the link per sitemap is not working.
    2. when i deactivate translatepress, it works. but after set a a lower link limit(sch as 200) and activiate translatepress again , it only have english version link in sitemap, no other language.
    3. only when i set a very large limit per sitemap which can cover all links, it shows the multilanguage in the sitemap.

do you have any solution for this?

it works now when i set link per sitemap to be 3. it ended up with around 300 links each sitemap. and when i set 2, it ended up with around 200 each sitemap. do we need to multiple 100 when set this figure?

    Hello,

That is not the expected behavior of the links per sitemap option. It should return the exact value upon setting them i.e. 200 links per sitemap should show 200 URLs every sub-sitemap.

In this case, we may need to investigate the issue further by following the steps provided by my colleague above.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

thanks for all your kindly help. finally i found the reason. it’s the translatepress multilanguage. you may be calculate the links per sitemap by the main language of the website instead of the full links(include all languages links created by translatepress)

if a website have 100 language by translatepress, then multiple around 100. if 50 language by translatepress, then multiple around 50.

i did the test, set the links per sitemap to 3, and the sitemap quantity of 80 langeuage and 50 language is the same. but the links in sub sitemap is differs according to the language quantity(50 and 80).

    Hello,

TranslatePress automatically adds multilingual posts to your sitemap as the setting is usually on by default. If the sitemap has not been updated properly, please try clearing the cache on your server and other optimization plugins. Please also share a link to the sitemap so we can validate that the sitemap is loading correctly.

Looking forward to helping you on this one.
