yes the button in rankmath is blue and activated and also on staging area we have the same problem.
In staging area we only left activated your plugin + wpbakery and uncode theme plugins, that we need to display our website.

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.
You are currently using a very custom page builder. You may be using custom blocks for the WP Bakery builder and by default, Rank Math can’t read the content from custom blocks or shortcodes, hence the option to open external links to a new tab will not work.

There are basically 4 main WP drag and drop block designer in WP: elementor, wpbakery, beaver and divi. Those have 90% of market share. WPbakery (which is what I am using) has a HUGE market share. It’s the second block editor for WP… and you are not compatible with that???
You should fix that asap for your hundred of thousands of clients not knowing about this bug and using wpbakery…
Also, I tested more deeply and it’s NOT what you said.

is on classic editor and the links don’t open in blank… so you have another problem!

We can see that external links (links of other domains) actually open in new tabs. We checked the source code of other external links on your site and can see that the “target” attribute is set to “_blank”:
Please note that links to other pages or posts of your website are regarded as internal links. While links of URLs having other domains apart from yours are regarded as external links.
You can try visiting your site and clicking these links in an incognito window or a different browser to see if the external link opens in a new tab.
