Linking to wrong Google Analaytics site.

I have noticed that my GA is connected to the wrong account through Rank Math. I don’t know how to fix this. I have tried removing it and re-entering but it asks which google account and then automatically adds what I am guessing is the first property on my GA account. I need it to link to UA-172429665-1 instead, how can we do this?

    Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch, and I am incredibly sorry about the trouble this might have caused.

Do you have both sites under the same account? There seems to be an issue from Google’s end for Sites under the same account. As a workaround, you can verify your site under a separate Google account.

If you do not wish to do that, please install Site Kit until Google fixes the issue with their API.

I hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Hi there, I have added site kit which appears to be linking to the correct site now. I am still having an issue with the wrong one showing up in GT Metrix. I have added it to Litespeeds excluded JS, but it’s still coming up. Is there anything I need to remove in Rank Math now that I have Site Kit added to make sure nothing is conflicting?

    Hello,

Please clear your website cache from the caching plugin and then test the page again with GTMetrix.

Also, to be sure that nothing is conflicting between Site Kit and Rank Math, you can disable the Analytics module from the Rank Math dashboard.

I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.
