link suggesion

    Link Suggestion gives me zero results. I tried to customize the Link Suggestion, but the result is the same.
    I go to other articles and have many suggestions. What do RPGs have to do with Nintendo, Platform, and more? It would make sense if the suggestions came for Super Mario Bros and told me the platform, Nintendo, NES, Mario.

    My website is a union of game news and online games. I created Pillar Pages for game news posts and placed buttons with links for game tags and categories.

    I want to put the suggested links from the pages of games like Super Mario Bros, but I don’t get the suggestions with the pillar pages of Nintendo game news and so on.

    How do I put the featured image together with the links? I would like to do related posts. Pages with just links are terrible.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting the support.

    The link suggestions based on pillar content are shown for posts having categories in common. That is, if you mark a post as pillar content, all the other posts having common categories will get a link suggestion.

    So, if you want to get link suggestions from the “Nintendo game news” page on the “Super Mario Bros” page, please mark the “Nintendo game news” page as pillar content and add a category that is common on both pages and see if that helps.

    For more details, please refer to this guide:

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.

    So it was as I had perceived; In my case it is useless, because they have different categories and tags.

    For curiosity; What sense would it make to link two category trees? Nintendo is under Games. If this doesn’t create any problems and improves google understanding, I’m going to do it. The problem of links remains; How do I avoid links without images? I have not tried it, but I doubt that an image will be inserted by putting the link.

    This time I don’t rehearse, because the last time I did it I had to work on it for a month or more. I will do it in case of affirmation.

    Hello,

    The pillar content option works for the posts in the same category as the pillar content is related to the content of the posts where you want to insert the link and that’s why they should be in the same category. However, if in your case the posts that you want to internal link don’t belong to the same category, you don’t have to add the category just to use the pillar content option. You can insert the links manually or use a dedicated internal linking plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/link-whisper/

    And can you please confirm what you mean by “links without images”? Please share some details so we can assist you further.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    I was pleased to see that Link Suggestion adds images in addition to the link.

    I find it difficult to change the classes.

    I have tried using this, but with little success at the moment.

    .wp-embed {
    padding: 0! important;
    font-size: 24px! important;
    font-weight: bold! important;
    color: # 757575! important;
    border: 0! important;
    box-shadow: unset! important;
    width: 300px! important;
    }

    Hello,

    The link suggestions only adds the link to your content. It doesn’t add the images. And can you please confirm where do you want to add that CSS code? Please add a screenshot so we can check and assist you further. You can use a tool like https://imgbb.com/ to share the screenshots.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Actually, Link Suggestion creates a WordPress Embed block. Unfortunately, most of the changes don’t work and I don’t understand why.
    From the image, you can see that I have a problem with the image. I think it’s lazy loading. I will inquire.

    Hello,

    Our link suggestion doesn’t create or insert a link as an embed block.

    Can you please provide a video screencast of how you added the link suggestion into your content? You may upload the video screencast to loom.com and share the URL here so we can further assist you.

    Looking forward to helping you on this one.

    I have removed the pillar contents. You can find what you are looking for;
    – Link Suggestion.
    – Click on a new block on Gutenberg.
    – The first icon you see after the Link Suggestion.

    The effect is exactly like the WordPress Embed block.

    Hello,

    We tried replicating the issue from our end but we can’t seem to find any embed from our end.

    Can you please share the affected URL and your WordPress admin login so we can further take a closer look?

    Looking forward to helping you on this one.

    It does not matter. I don’t use it anymore. Hope Google can follow the breadcrumbs. That way, I won’t need to use Link Suggestion.
