    Link Preview Image and Title for home page is taken from first blog post.

    When I share my homepage URL (which is just the root main URL) to Facebook, Twitter, iMessage, the link preview shows the correct description set inside of Title & Meta, but the tile and image shown in the link preview is taken from the first blog post.

    How do I set the featured image and the tile correctly for the homepage? The home page does not have a separate page like the other pages. There is a homepage template and I set the image there too and it is not taking.

    Hello,

    Thank you for getting in touch and I am extremely sorry about the trouble this might have caused.

    You can change homepage settings by heading to Rank math > Titles & Meta > Homepage. If your homepage consists of your latest post, you can change your social sharing met from here then clear your cache and try again.

    If you are using a static homepage, you can click on the edit page option then change the met under the social tab in Rank math metabox.

    I actually saw another post somewhere that said that another plugin could cause similar problems as mine which was correct. I had featured image by URL overwriting some of the values that messed up the rank math home page link previewing.
