  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing with the 404 redirects on your website. It’s definitely frustrating to see these errors and it’s great that you’ve already taken some steps to investigate the issue.

It seems like there might be some unwanted URLs redirecting on your website. This could be caused by various factors, including other plugins installed on your website that can add redirection rules to the .htaccess file.

To troubleshoot this issue, I recommend following our step-by-step process to identify the problem and fix it. You can refer to our guide on solving redirection issues using Rank Math SEO plugin here.

If you have already checked for other redirect plugins installed and found none, and if you’re still experiencing the issue, please let us know. We’ll be happy to assist you further.

    Best regards.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Can you please confirm if you’re getting those URLs in the Rank Math 404 monitor? If so, please note that we only report the 404s and unfortunately, we do not have information on how or why they are generated. You can get further insight into them by enabling the advanced monitor: https://rankmath.com/kb/monitor-404-errors/#advanced-404-monitor

That will give you more information like referrer and user-agent. You can use that information to track down the source or find out if it is just bots generating those errors.

You can fix these errors by redirecting them to a related page on your website:

Or you can exclude the URLs from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > 404 Monitor: https://rankmath.com/kb/general-settings/#exclude-paths

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.
