    The Content AI research doesn’t just use the language you have defined, it returns the suggestions based on the top-ranking pages and the related keywords ranking in the location you have chosen for the researched keyword.

    So if English keywords are related keywords for the researched keyword in the country you have chosen to research for, then the Content AI will return the same suggestions.

    If you try to search the same keyword on Google (in the same location), you should receive the same results.

    Unfortunately not: the keyword suggestions are completely unrelated to the keyword selected. The keyword entered is “site web” -> website and the keyword suggested are all in English:
    partner product
    product partner
    presenting partner
    partner presenting

    and similar keywords (all in German):
    schätzen regionalen Köstlichkeiten -> appreciate regional delicacies
    postfach der zürcher musikverleger -> post office box of the zurich music publishers
    erlebnissen kulturellen schätzen -> cultural experiences
    kulturellen schätzen regionalen -> cultural appreciate regional
    östlichkeiten und authentischen -> eastern and authentic

    This is completely unrelated to the given keyword and to the article. A google search retrieves articles that are 100% unrelated.

    I can check that you have selected Switzerland as the location in the Content AI section:

    That’s why the similar keywords are in German. Please select the correct country and run the research again. The content AI should show the correct suggestions after that.

    Yes, I selected Switzerland and this is correct. I want to rank on google.ch in French.

    We have 4 national languages in Switzerland, one of them is French. Google.ch is available in 5 different languages.

    When you set the country for Switzerland and given the fact that the country has multiple official languages it’s possible that the keywords appear in one of those languages.

    That is because the plugin looks at the results on Google from Switzerland and it evaluates those results and since those come in all the different official languages the output might be one of those languages.

    There’s no way around this and it’s something very specific to countries such as Switzerland due to the linguistic nature of it.

    Well, this means that the tool is not working in multi-lingual countries. Especially, the terms that are recommended has strictly no relations to the term entered. So this makes the tool unusable for me. However you want to turn it, there are no relations between “website” and “cultural experiences”. It is not just providing keywords in other languages, but it is providing keywords that are completely unrelated.

    So if there is no way around it, I would say that your product is defective for my market and I would like to be reimbursed.

    As requested, we have initiated a refund on your requested transaction. You should see a credit for the refund appear on your credit card statement anytime between now and the next 5 to 7 business days.
