Keywords in internet directories

    Hello,

Recently I added RankMath to my WordPress website under my webmaster’s RankMath account, and followed the RankMath recommendations for entering keywords and meta descriptions to the pages, in the back end of my website. Your articles were very helpful.

Question: do the keywords in my internet listings across the internet (example: Bing, Foursquare, etc) need to be the same keywords that I entered in Rankmath on my website, for best seo results in Google?

I use listing management services like Moz and Semrush, and in their dashboard there is a field for keywords. My understanding is that Google wants consistent information across all my internet listings, and am wondering if that applies to keywords.

    thank you,
    Beth Wishbow

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

Apologies for the delay as we currently have a high volume of tickets here in our support forums.

Yes, you may need to match the keywords so Rank Math can analyze your post content and optimize it with our content analysis feature:

Moreover, the major purpose of the focus keyword in Rank Math is to create content around it and get it ranked in Google or Bing for that keyword.

    Hope that helps.
