Sorry, I should have told you that I had already cleared the cache, deactivated WP Rocket and Bunny CDN.
Hello,
Thanks for getting back to us.

Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
I went through the troubleshooting procedure, and as soon as I entered that the problem went away. I changed to the 2019 theme, re-activated all plugins one at a time, and it was still working well. Then I realized that I was looking at the Rank Math area in the WordPress Editor environment, and no longer at the one shown in the new Elementor integration. I then looked at the Elementor Rank Math SEO tab, and that’s still showing the incorrect keyword and content info.
So, I went through the troubleshooting procedure…again. This time I enabled only Elementor and Rank Math, and the error is there, so the problem appears to be related to the new ‘integration’ with Elementor. The linked screenshot shows that on the same page the Elementor SEO tab and the Rank Math report in the WP Editor are quite different.

Hi Steven,
Are you using Shortcodes inside the content?
If so, then there will always be a difference between WordPress & Elementor as Elementor renders Shortcodes whereas WordPress does not. That impacts the score calculation. Unfortunately, there is no workaround for this at the moment. Sorry.
Please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
No, I’m not using Shortcodes anywhere on this page at all…especially not in any content areas.
In fact, I just checked all of my other sites and the same issue is happening…Rank Math in the Elementor SEO tab is reporting over twice the amount of content than the WP Editor.
Hi Steven,
Thanks for the reply.
Elementor renders content through shortcodes which may not be directly visible on the page source. This is what is affecting the calculation of the score.
I hope this info helps. Thank you.
So basically the keyword and content info shown in the SEO Tab in Elementor should be ignored since it’s displaying grossly inaccurate figures. Why would you include such a feature?
Hi Steven,
We are extremely sorry about this. It is not intended. At the most, there should be a score difference of 10 but seems like it is much higher in your case.
We are taking a closer look at this and we will release an update with a fix very soon.
In the meantime, please ignore the test if you know it is incorrect. For example, if you know you already added the focus keyword in the content but Rank Math is telling you that you haven’t, please ignore it.
The score is there only for your reference anyway and doesn’t affect your actual rankings. Treat it only as a to-do list, nothing more. Don’t try to live by it and don’t follow the tests religiously.
I appreciate your patience in this matter.
I appreciate the effort…it was just that I was being presented with 2 very disparate ‘to-do lists’, and it was quite confusing.
Hi Steven,
I understand the confusion. I would be frustrated too.
We have managed to find the issue. This only happens with pages. With posts, you will see a perfectly matched score and to-do list. I copied your page as a post on my test setup and it works perfectly fine.
We will release an update in 24 hours or on Monday. Really appreciate your patience in the meantime and sorry for the confusion.
