Hello and many thanks for the amazing plugin. Now I’m testing it to change on it from another one.

Although I absolutely disagree with your depreciating keywords that are depreciated only by Google, but still are in use at least by Yandex and Facebook, I appreciate that you are giving a chance to return them by add_filter( ‘rank_math/frontend/show_keywords’, ‘__return_true’) that I have done.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t resolve a lot, because:
    1) all keywords that have been added before, with the previous SEO plugin has disappeared and it’s unrealistically huge work to return them manually
    2) the keywords appears only in <meta name=”keywords” and schema.article.keywords but not in
    <meta property=”article:tag”
    3) in <meta property=”article:tag” appears tags as keywords that I don’t like to see there

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    1. Can you please confirm which SEO plugin were you using previously? If you have imported the data from that plugin then the keywords should have been imported in Rank Math.

    2. The article:tag meta tag is supposed to show the tags that you have assigned to the post.

    3. You can modify and use the following filter to modify the article:tag OpenGraph tag: https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#change-specific-social-meta

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance.

    1) I’m trying to migrate from All-in-one SEO v.4.x.x.

    2) I suppose that tags in wordpress and in Facebook have the different meaning.

    3) Could you make a switcher to allow include tags to article:tag and keywords to article:tag, please.

    Hello,

    1. If you have migrated the keywords from AIO SEO then you can use the filter to add them to the keywords meta tag.

    2. The values for the article:tag are taken from the tags you have assigned to your posts. The meta tag is there to let Facebook know the tags that are assigned to the article.

    3. You will have to use the filter if you want to use the keywords in the article:tag or you can simply create the same tags as your keywords.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance.
