    Hello

I am getting the “Focus Keyword does not appear in the SEO title” issue on my home page. I am guessing it is because WordPress is changing how the apostrophe appears in the code Eg: Josie’s Journey is becoming Josie's Journey.

Do you have any suggestions for fixing this? I have uploaded screen shots here that may help show the issue.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

To pass some tests about keywords, the primary focus keyword you have set should have the exact match on the words you have set in your title/content/description.

You can copy your title and paste it on the keywords or vice versa.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hi Reinelle

I’ve done that – it makes no difference

    Thanks
    Josie

    Hello,

I tried replicating your issue and it seems to be working just fine from our end. Please see my screenshot in the Sensitive Data section.

Please try to manually type in the title and the focus keyword including the single quote (').

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thanks

That didn’t help, but I figured it out.

I went into the “edit snippet” section, and changed the Title box to %title% %page% instead of %sitename% that was in there.

    Hello,

We are super happy that your issue has been resolved.

If you have another question in the future, please feel free to create a new forum topic, and it will be our pleasure to assist you.

    Thank you.
