it seems like rank math dosen’t generate my sitemap_index.xml page

Please follow these steps to flush and regenerate your sitemap:

• Reset your WordPress permalinks by going to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and clicking Save Changes without making any changes.
• Regenerate your sitemap by going to Rank Math > Sitemap Settings and changing the Link per Sitemap to 201 or anything else and then click Save Changes. You can change it later, this is just to regenerate your sitemap. You can follow this screencast: https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp
• Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

• To make sure your sitemap gets updated immediately, add the following code to your site:

  /**
   * Filter if XML sitemap transient cache is enabled.
   *
   * @param boolean $unsigned Enable cache or not, defaults to true
   */
  add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

Thank you for your patience.

We’ve checked your site, and it seems that you haven’t added any posts/pages on your site. Even your homepage does not return any page and returns a 404.

To generate the sitemap, there should be at least one URL that is already published.

Let us know if the sitemap is still showing 404 even after publishing/posting a page on your site as only indexed pages are included in your sitemaps.

Hello,

You had only one post on your site and that’s why Rank Math was able to generate the sitemap. But if you’ve deleted that post then there is nothing to add to the sitemap and that’s why the sitemap is not working.

However, if you add any post or page on your website then Rank Math will generate the sitemap again.
