Issues with connecting account

    I have launched a new site for a client. It was on staging area and I’ve connected rankMath with my google account but I’m getting an error saying “Your site URL has changed since you connected to Rank Math. Click here to reconnect.”

    I click on this option but it wants me to connect to the old url being faithworks-wessex.org.uk not the actual domain of faith-works.org.uk

    The old url is being redirected to the new one but I’m getting a load of duplicate content and tag errors in Semrush.

    Please can I get some help???

    Thank you for contacting the support and we regret the inconvenience caused.

    Please head over to your WordPress admin area > Settings > General, and see if the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) are exactly the same (i.e, even the protocol (HTTP or HTTPS) and variations (www or non-www) should be same).

    Then follow this guide to reconnect your Rank Math account and clear your website and browser’s cache and see if that removes the notice: https://rankmath.com/kb/website-not-shown-in-account/

    In case that doesn’t help, please add this filter to the website and see if that helps: 

    /**
 * Filter whether we need to check for URL mismatch or not.
 */
add_filter( 'rank_math/registration/do_url_check', '__return_false' );
