Issue with Sitemap.xml and WPML

    Hi,

we get the Root path / several times in the page-sitemap.xml, this shows a lot of errors in the Google Search Console.

We have a multilingual Website with 5 Languages, it is possible to generate separated Sitemaps for every language which then just shows the specific language path content?

    Best Regards
    Marc

    2. the trick with resetting the sitemap via permalink saving does not change anything

    3. the sitemaps have already been excluded from the cache (WP Rocket)

    4. Only the URLs of the default language are showen. Only category-sitemap.xml is output correctly.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

This can happen if you have pages that are translated and published in a multilingual site where the language of translation is set to hidden or the translation seems to be missing. Please check and if you have such pages, you can set these pages to noindex or add custom canonical to exclude them from sitemap.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
