Issue with Shortcodes Interfering with SEO Analysis

    Dear Rank Math Support Team,

    I am experiencing an issue with the Rank Math SEO plugin on my website’s “Contact Us” page. The page is built with a significant number of shortcodes, and it seems that Rank Math is reading these shortcodes as part of the page content. This is causing an error with the focus keyword analysis, as the plugin is not detecting the focus keywords correctly at the beginning of the actual content.

    The focus keyword for this page is “Contact Us – Carolina Fine Foods, SE Main St, Simpsonville,” but the plugin is only analyzing the shortcode text, which does not include these keywords.

    Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue so that the plugin accurately analyzes the page content, excluding the shortcodes?

    Plugin used:
    1) Salient WPBakery Page Builder:Version 6.7.1
    2) Salient Shortcodes Version 1.5
    3) Rank Math SEO Version 1.0.211

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

    I understand that your plugin is currently misreading the focus keywords on my “Contact Us” page due to shortcode interference. I want to confirm: this issue with the Rank Math plugin’s analysis shouldn’t actually impact my page’s practical SEO performance on search engines, correct? It’s just a misread by the plugin, and as long as the focus keyword is in the content, my SEO should be unaffected?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

    Yes, the SEO score is only for your reference and doesn’t affect the actual SEO performance of your site. If you feel any of them don’t apply to your page or you have already done them, you can safely ignore them as search engines test the live version of your site.

    Alternatively, you can disable those tests as well by using the filter in this guide:
