Dear Rank Math SEO Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out regarding an issue I’ve encountered with the application of the “nofollow” attribute to internal links on my website.

    Description of the Issue:
I have noticed that certain internal links within specific categories on my website are being erroneously marked with the “nofollow” attribute. This is causing concerns as it affects the flow of link equity within my website and impacts its overall SEO performance.

    Steps Taken to Resolve:
I have thoroughly reviewed the settings within Rank Math SEO and have not found any configuration that would cause internal links within categories to be marked as “nofollow” unintentionally. Additionally, I have inspected the HTML source code of the affected links to confirm that the attribute is being added dynamically.

    Request for Assistance:
I kindly request your support in investigating this issue further and providing guidance on how to resolve it. It’s crucial for the SEO health of my website that internal links are appropriately configured to ensure optimal indexing and crawling by search engines.

    Additional Information:

    Website URL: https://healthweblog.com
Rank Math SEO Plugin Version: Latest
    WordPress Version: 6.5
    Theme: Astra

  • Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the issue you are facing with the incorrect application of the “nofollow” attribute to internal links on your website. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Based on the information provided, it seems that certain internal links within specific categories are being marked with the “nofollow” attribute unintentionally. To address this concern, we recommend checking the following:

    1. Review Nofollow Settings: Ensure that the global settings in Rank Math SEO are correctly configured to avoid applying the “nofollow” attribute to internal links. You can access these settings by navigating to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Links.

    2. Check Link Controls: Verify that individual links within your content are not set to “nofollow” using the link controls available in the WordPress Editor. You can set or remove the “nofollow” attribute for specific links directly from the editor.

If after reviewing these settings, the issue persists, please provide us with more details or examples of the affected internal links so we can investigate further and assist you in resolving the issue promptly.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation. We are here to help you ensure the optimal SEO performance of your website.

    Warm regards.
