Issue with Facebook Thumbnail while using canonical link.

    The default featured image is not loading as thumbnail image on Facebook while I put canonical link from advance tab. Simply, thumbnail image is being replaced with canonical URL’s featured image. Is this a bug?

    I want to load current post’s featured image as thumbnail on Facebook having canonical URL linked.

    Hi Pawan,

    This is not a bug. This is just how Facebook treats canonical tags. You have to change the image on the canonical URL as well.
