Issue with Facebook Preview Image Not Displaying via Rank Math SEO

    When using the Social feature of Rank Math SEO to set up the Facebook preview image, the preview appears to be correctly set within Rank Math. However, the image does not show up when the page is actually shared on Facebook. I also tried using the Meta Sharing Debugger tool, but the preview image still doesn’t appear. Additionally, I uploaded a new image that meets Facebook’s size requirements, but it still doesn’t work.

    Could you please help me check what might be causing this and how to resolve it?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    We’ve tested the URL using the Facebook debugger tool, and it is returning this error:

    Provided og:image URL, https://raku-jp.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/未命名-1000-x-400-像素-35.png could not be processed as an image. It may be corrupted or may have an invalid format.

    This is a known issue with Facebook that has also been reported by many users. The image is not shown when the file name is not in English or if they are using special characters.

    In this case, we recommend renaming the image file to English so Facebook can display the images in your articles.
