Issue: permalink with category in permalink not changing

    When I make a draft or publish a post with any category tag the URL after stays unchanged

    example:
    I make a draft
    enter a title
    forget to choose category so it’s uncategorized
    click save draft

    I notice that my category is not correct, I go back in and change the category.

    My URL is /category/post-name

    but after the first save is uncategorized it does not change anymore it stays like that

    and this happens in the draft.

    I hope this issue gets resolved soon

    please solve this. My workaround is, deactivate the rank math plugin and use another SEO plugin that helps me with SEO and change the category so the permalink is fixed
    then I deactivate that plugin and reactivate RankMath

    I also tried reinstalling

    it’s up to date latest version available

    Are you using the Classic Editor or the Gutenberg?

    I just tested with Gutenberg and it is working fine as expected:

    There has to be some other issue on your website and I would love to help you troubleshoot.

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    Issue somehow not reproducible anymore.

    I can now change category and URL changes correctly.
