Internal Server Error only in Advanced Mode; PHP Memory Limit is 256M

    Hi y’all, first of all thanks for this awesome plugin! I could really use some help to make it work properly, though. Here’s my problem as I’ve narrowed it down:

    I’m using Elementor Pro and Rank Math. Last week I needed to change into Advanced Mode in order to do some specific settings (I need to add “NOINDEX” to either specific posts or one specific category). Ever since, Elementor Pro stopped working. I’m getting 500 internal server errors when I try to access Elementor panels. Now I know that my webhoster won’t increase PHP Memory Limit to 512MB (I asked them), I’m currently at 256MB. Do you see any fix to this other than changing my hosting plan to something bigger? I could change to something with 384MB PHP Memory Limit max without significant additional fees. Do you think that would work?
    Alternatively: Do you have an idea for adding NOINDEX to certain posts in Simple Mode? I could also live with a hard fix (for the whole category) in the robots.txt. But in Simple Mode I can’t access it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Since you can’t increase the PHP memory limit, instead of using the Edit with Elementor option, you can use the Edit option to open the default editor and set the post to noindex.

    Once done, switch back to Easy Mode and use Elementor to edit the pages.

    Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately I already tried that, but WordPress won’t save these changes. In fact, once I switch to Advanced mode I can’t do anything in the RankMath dashboard, the Elementor RankMath panel or the Classic Editor RankMath panel. RankMath just stops responding, the only thing I can do is restart the wizzard and choose Easy mode. I’m now in the process of upgrading to 384M memory limit, I’m really hoping this helps.

    I upgraded to 384M Memory Limit, with no success unfortunately.

    I have updated the sensitive data as requested. I also attached the server error log after enabling Advanced Mode. Can you please check further?

    Hi! I have no idea what exactly the health check and troubleshooting plugin that you installed did exactly, but it certainly seemed to have fixed everything. The PHP errors in the server logs stopped the minute you installed it. Works for me now, too! Thank you so much for the help, I really appreciate it!
