    Hello,

I have been trying to make internal links with the link suggestions but in vain!

On my homepage, there are three siteorigineditor widgets. How do I make the internal links with the link suggestions to a specific siteorigineditor widget?

I have attached the page editor image so you can understand my query. Also, you can see the homepage at: https://sri-lanka-tours-online.com/

Kindly assist me in this regard.

    Thank you,

    Gopi Mundkur

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math for help with adding link suggestions using the SiteOrigin editor.

You can add suggested links by manually pasting them inside the SiteOrigin widgets within the WordPress editor. If I misunderstood your question, please may you share additional details, You can use a tool like loom.com to record a screencast.

    Looking forward to helping you.

Thank you, Nigel. I have marked the homepage and some other pages as pillar posts. Therefore, as I cannot use the link suggestions directly to make internal links should I not mark the page/s as a pillar post?

    Looking forward to your advice.

    Hello,

Since you are using an editor in which Rank Math isn’t fully integrated there yet, you can ignore marking it as a pillar as Search Engine will still be able to determine and recognize the internal links.

When marking a page/post as “Pillar” content, you are telling Rank Math that this is an evergreen piece of content that will remain relevant for years to come, so this is only to guide you on building contextual content across your website.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Ok. I shall unmark the page/s as pillar posts, as suggested. Should, I also, therefore, not use the link suggestions of the Rank Math plugin?

I have unmarked the page/s as pillar content. However, I still see the pillar icon when I go to see ‘all pages’ in WordPress. Why is the icon not going away?

One more question: It says do not install the beta version on a live website! So, why are you suggesting that I do this? Please also, answer the previous question.

    Hello,

If there are no pages set as pillar content, the link suggestion will not show any suggestions. And if you don’t want to use the beta version, you can wait for the stable version as it will be released soon.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance.

Yes, after clearing the cache, logging out and then logging in, I do not see any link suggestions. Thank you.
