  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

Since the text file is not being created automatically you will need to manually add the text file to the root of your website with the following name: [your_api_key].txt and the contents should also include the API key.

After that is done, when you submit a URL you should get a status code 202 which means the request has been accepted and it’s waiting for the validation of the API key before being submitted.

For the issue on Bing, could you please share the affected URL so we can check as well?

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

Non of my website URLs are indexing on bing

    Hello,

Can you please share the website URL in the sensitive data section?

Also, please ensure that the website is verified on Bing Webmaster Tool and the sitemap is submitted to Bing.

You can follow this guide to verify the website:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/verify-your-site-with-bing-webmaster-tools/

To submit the sitemap, you can refer to this guide:

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

It seems that your website is not being indexed by Bing.

I checked the affected page you shared and there aren’t any issues that might cause Bing to not index it.

I checked your page in Google search and your page is indexed there.

If a URL is on Google, then there is technically no reason for it to not be included in Bing, unless Bing has some reason to not index a page like DMCA, copyright content, nulled content, copied content, etc.

In this case, please go through Bing’s Webmaster Guidelines and see if there are areas of your website that violates it.

If you can’t find any, then you need to contact them again and ask which specific part of your website violates the guidelines.

However, we also would like to check your instant indexing. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

    Thank you.

    Hello,

You didn’t seem to add any information in the Sensitive Data section. Can you please confirm if you have checked the Bing Webmaster guidelines as recommended in my previous response? If that doesn’t help you, you may check this one with Bing support.

If you need further assistance from us, just as away. We are here to help you.

    Looking forward to helping you.

You asked to add WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section which I have already added.

I checked the guidelines, I was not able to find anything specific.

    Hello,

I checked everything on your website, from the configuration of Rank Settings to the SEO Analysis. Please refer to my findings below:

    1. The settings are correctly configured. There are no current settings that may encourage Bing to not index your pages.

    2. Sitemaps are all loading fine.

    3. Your robots.txt file is also configured correctly, Bing should be able to crawl your website.

    4. Lastly, your website is returning a very good score when submitted to the SEO Analysis.

At this point, we don’t have any insights into why Bing isn’t indexing your website. Google on the other hand is indexing your pages so there must be other reasons (off-page related) why Bing isn’t indexing it. I would recommend you to check this one with Bing support.

As for the Instant Indexing API issue, I attempted to change the key but it didn’t create a .txt file. I tried installing a file manager on your website but it doesn’t seem to work. Can you please share your FTP login for us to further troubleshoot the issue?

    Looking forward to helping you.
