Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
Please try reconnecting your Google Analytics account. To do this, go to Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and click reconnect at the top right corner.
Give all the permissions requested in the connection wizard and when you are taken back to your website, select the relevant Google Analytics and Google Search Console properties and click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page.
If the issue still persists, please clear your browser’s cache or try connecting the website using Incognito mode (Google Chrome browser).
Let us know how this goes.
It doesn’t help, and I simply don’t understand where it goes wrong.
It seem like somewhere I haven’t filled in the right information or something is missing.
Can I possibly delete my account with rank math and then start again?
thanks and regards
You can’t modify any account with our plugin.
Please follow the steps below to fix it.
Please make sure you have the latest version of the Rank Math plugin installed on your site. You can check the latest version here: https://rankmath.com/changelog/free/
Check to make sure that you have verified Google Search Console, if not, follow this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/
Please make sure that you are not connecting to Google Search Console via a domain property but rather a URL prefix and that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).
Then remove Rank Math’s access from Google Please remove RankMath’s app from your Google apps permissions: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
Reconnect the Google account again to regenerate the auth token from Google, by going to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and configure the Search Console and Analytics settings again:
Kindly check all necessary checkboxes to allow Rank Math to access some of the Google Services. Please check my screenshot below for reference.
We hope this resolves the issue for you.

thanks, although very helpful, it does solve the problems.
upon verifyig my html code, I get Failure reason:Your verification file was not found in the required location.
I have tried multiple times using your guide for http and https- now what?
However I do get to see my website name in the seach console, but when testing I get the error message: Data import will not work for this service as sufficient permissions are not given.
I guess because of the failed verification?
also the analytics is on red.
I also rremoved and reconnected the access to rank math in my google account, but I must say that the bullet points have a different text to your prtscr! is that an issue?
so is this now a google issue or a rank math issue?
please advise, for which many thanks
