We released a quick Beta update you can try to see if that helps.
Please enable the Beta update by following this:

If you are unable to see an update, please clear Rank Math’s transients from:
WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Remove Rank Math Transients > Remove transients
Please clear the caches, server, and WordPress after updating.
You can disable the Beta updates once you update to the latest version and if the issue is fixed.

Hi! I have had to roll back to the old version on all my sites as I was unable to insert links – any way the issue can be fixed without having to go through the entire beta-updates ordeal?

Our beta version is just short-term, we will be releasing a stable version with this specific fix very soon.
As for now, you may use the older version and wait for the next update as we will be releasing it shortly.
