  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing with Google indexing and your ranking dropping. From your description, it seems like there might be an issue with how Google is indexing your website and displaying the search results.

Based on the information you provided, it’s essential to check a few things to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Check Indexing Status: Verify if your website or specific pages are indexed by Google. You can do this by entering the URL of the page you want to check directly into Google search. If the page is indexed, it should show up in the search results.

    2. Meta Description and Title: Ensure that your meta descriptions and titles are correctly set up and relevant to the content on your pages. Sometimes Google may choose to display different information based on the search query.

    3. Google Cache: Check when Google last cached your page to see if it reflects the changes you made. This can help determine if Google has picked up on the updates you’ve made.

    4. Content Quality: Make sure your meta descriptions are relevant, useful, and of high quality. Avoid using just a collection of keywords or having the same meta description across multiple pages.

If you have made all the necessary checks and everything seems fine, sometimes Google may choose to display different information based on the search intent.

You can also refer to our guide on Why Google Hasn’t Indexed Your Post, Page, and/or Website for more detailed information on troubleshooting indexing issues.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We checked your website on Google using the site: operator and can see that some pages from your website have been indexed as shown in the image below:

This means that some pages on your website have been indexed on Google.

Please note that only Google can determine how results are ranked in SERP and it is up to Google to show your content for the desired keyword when searched. The results in Google search pages are controlled by Google’s algorithm. However, using Rank Math ensures that your website is indexed and available for search engines to display in search engine result pages.

To address your concerns, you would need to optimize your content further with more quality and relevance for the intended keyword.

We have provided a guide you can follow to ensure your website keeps showing up on Google search results: https://rankmath.com/kb/google-index/

You can also learn more about the key factors that help determine which results are returned for a search query from this Google article: https://www.google.com/search/howsearchworks/how-search-works/ranking-results/

To make tracking your ranking for keywords on Google easier, you can use the Rank Math’s Rank Tracker feature to track your keywords and their position on the Search Engine Result Page.

Rank Tracker can track the keyword performance of your selected keywords. You can enter the keywords in the Rank tracker, and the keyword performance will be monitored so that you can have a clear picture of which keywords are performing well as compared to the others. Read more about the Rank Tracker here https://rankmath.com/kb/rank-tracker/

Finally, note that ranking on Google depends on different factors. Here are some of the factors Google considers when ranking your website.

    1. Your website’s authority
    2. Your content’s quality and how better it is than the other article currently ranking.
    3. How competitive the keyword you are using is.
    4. How many backlinks you have and if they are better than what the other websites ranking for that keyword have.
    5. Your website’s crawlability.
    6. Frequency of new content and content updates.
    7. So much more that there is a dedicated blog post on it by Brian Dean 🙂 https://backlinko.com/google-ranking-factors

We hope that helps, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.
