    Hello rankmath,
I am using your plugin since a month and i have almost 3000 links in my sitemap (Submitted to Google – Excluded Discovered – currently not indexed – N/A), . Indexed pages number is changing but not growing. For example 1 month ago it was around 150, after a week changed to 315, then 140… Google visiting my site (last cache 4 days ago) regularly. I am using custom post type but i think the plugin settings are correct. Whats wrong then?
    Regards

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I am afraid that the credentials do not work. Could you also check if there are any errors reported on your search console dashboard?

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Now you can try again.
There is no error on dashboard.

    Hi there,

Thank you for the follow up.

Your sitemap was returning a 404 when getting loaded which is likely the cause of this problem. I have flushed your permalinks and also reduced the number of links on the sitemap to 500.

Please delete the current sitemap on the search console and resubmit a new one using the same URL and then wait a couple of days.

Let me know how this goes. Thank you.

it is still same, indexed pages count was 820 today morning but now 118

edit after 37 min: now 1040 pages indexed. why is there such a change?

    Hi,

I am sorry but can you please tell me how you are checking the number of indexed pages?

    searching on google
    site:https://www.domain.com

    Hi,

That is not always an accurate measure of how many posts or pages are indexed.

For example, here is a search showing 1130 pages from your website indexed:
    null

But, when you click on page 9 of the search results, you will see the number automatically change to 90
    null

This is the accurate number of how many posts are indexed from your website.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

then i am going to wait, thank you.
