    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Did you add just the sitemap_index.xml file to Google Search Console? If you navigate to that URL, is it loading for you? Which URLs did you add to the cache plugin to don’t cache?

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello,

You only need to add the sitemap_index.xml sitemap, not any other. I checked the sitemaps and they seem to be working fine. I also tried to search for some of your posts (just to check if they are indexed) and they are (as you can see in the Sensitive Data section), so it can be just a temporal issue you have in the Google Search Console, since everything seems to be working.

    Looking forward to help you.

    Thank you, Alberto
Yes Article showing indexed when we search the entire URL. It’s been a month of this problem and I am not getting even 1% traffic from google. I don’t think so it is temporal issue because one-month has already gone.
I also don’t know why google not finding a sitemap when I inspect any URL.
    I attached a screenshot here. https://prnt.sc/skkl4i
Maybe there is some code in Rankmath plugin that discourage to update in google search console.
When I install this RankMath plugin After I got that issue.

    Hello,

I checked and no, all your Rank Math settings are working fine. Since it doesn’t seem like a problem in Rank Math or in your website, you should contact Google Support and see if they can give you some indications or at least, check it to determine the cause of the issue.

After that, please let us know.

    Looking forward to help you.

If you used the newer DNS-based verification method to verify your site in Search Console, then the submitted sitemaps list will not be available in Rank Math. Sites that have been verified using that are not accessible through the Search Console sitemaps API. Until Google adds support for that, we cannot show the Sitemaps list within your WordPress dashoard.

If you did not use the DNS verification and the submitted sitemaps are still not showing up in Rank Math > Search Console > Sitemaps, then first of all please go to Rank Math > General Settings > Search Console and click on Deauthorize, save it, and then authorize again, and save the settings once again.

You can check if the sitemap is working correctly on your site or not by visiting the sitemap_index.xml URL in your browser. You should see something like this: https://rankmath.com/sitemap_index.xml Clicking on the individual sitemaps should work too.
What you see in the Sitemaps report of the Search Console should reflect that: when you navigate to the Sitemaps report, you should see only the sitemap_index.xml listed there, and when you click on it, you should see the list of individual sitemaps included in the sitemap index.

You don’t have to submit the sitemaps manually, Rank Math should take care of that for you. If for any reason Rank Math did not submit your sitemap index correctly, then you can correct it in the Search Console manually, by submitting only the sitemap index and removing all the other sitemaps submitted.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank You, Todd

I verified my site through google analytic. I also reconnected to rank match plugin with google search console.

Now your point is when we click on a sitemap then there will be open sub-sitemap. However, on my website, when I click on a main sitemap in Google search console then sub-sitemap don’t show or open.

I don’t know what is the problem. Moreover, Discovered URLs don’t change in search console. its been more than one month facing this issue.

    Hello,

Please add s******@r*********** as a user in Google Search Console on that property.

Then, please share the WP logins in the sensitive data section so we can check.

Also, just so we are on the same page here – please share a screenshot of the exact issue as well to avoid confusion and to offer you better help.

    Thank you.
