Hello, good afternoon, I have installed your plugin but I have a problem and it is the following.
I migrated my site to another domain and it tells me the name of the previous domain appears in the home page tab, but when I deactivate its rankmath plugin it returns the name of the domain I am on, why is this the reason?
Could you help me with this please?

  • Hello, and I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing with the Rank Math plugin. It seems that after migrating your site to another domain, the previous domain name is still appearing in the home page tab. This could be due to the migration process or some residual data from the previous domain.

To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. Ensure that the migration process was completed successfully and that all references to the old domain have been updated to the new domain.
    2. Clear any caching plugins or server-side caching that might be causing the old domain name to persist.
    3. Check if there are any hard-coded references to the old domain in your theme files or database and update them to the new domain.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, please feel free to assign this ticket to a human agent for further assistance.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue for you.

Thanks for responding, the default plugin I had was Yoast Seo and I deleted it because I was having this same problem. This is how I decided to install Rank Math SEO.
At the time of installation, the plugin showed me the option if I wanted to migrate the data from Yoast SEO to Rank Math and I don’t know if taking this option led to the same problem.

How can I eliminate this information that the Yoas Seo Rank Math SEO Plugin now has so that the plugin is clean again and thus everything can surely be solved at the beginning?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

Upon checking your homepage, it seems that Rank Math is not activated at the moment.

However, you can change your homepage title on your WordPress dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Homepage.

Hi Reinelle, thank you very much for the support, I had to deactivate the plugin since it kept giving me that error in the site name.

But I have followed your information and it has been solved, thank you very much for all the support, it is the first time I use this plugin.

    thank you
