It would be nice if you added an ‘XML Sitemap’ section within the Rank Math SEO Settings Box that appears when you open an entity (post, taxonomy).
Within that new ‘XML Sitemap’ section, you should have a toggle that gives you the ability to set that entity as ‘include’ or ‘exclude’ from XML Sitemap.
See screenshot here:

If I’m at the Edit Category screen for a specific Category, I should be able to navigate to the ‘Advanced’ section of the Rank Math Settings Box, go to the ‘XML Sitemap’ section, and toggle whether or not I want to include this specific category in my XML Sitemap.I understand that you can currently achieve similar functionality by navigating to:
Rank Math > Sitemap Settings > General > Exclude Posts/Terms section. However, IMO — this functionality is slightly buried and not in an optimal location in regards to UI/UX.
Additionally, the existing setup assumes that the average user will be able to identify the correct term ID and/or post ID of the entity(s) that they are wanting to exclude.
Just a thought! If this already exists and I somehow overlooked it — please enlighten me. Thank you!
