Improved API Endpoints in the future?

    Hey team,

We’re working on rebuilding our site using Next.js and have recently switched from Yoast to Rank Math, but I was quite disappointed to see that there was no granular options for retrieving data from the Rank Math API other than the full head provided. There are many situations where I would like to retrieve and use specific data from a page, rather than only getting the head and having to parse through all of that HTML. Yoast had a very robust API that was easily accessible using GraphQL and was extremely granular, giving us a lot of options to work with. To move from that, as a developer, has felt like a significant setback.

Are there any plans to provide a more robust API, with more options for control than just receiving a final head HTML output?

    Thanks in advance,

    Cory

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

This feature in our plugin was just recently released and we understand that there’s still room for improvement.

With time we expect to build on this and possibly add more functionality or improve on the current functionality to make life easier for developers to get the data from the plugin.

We want to start with a solid base and then let people try the feature first. Then we start thinking of ways to improve it by ourselves and also from reading the customer feedback.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Hello,
