Although unlikely that the slow website speed is caused by Rank Math, if you feel that our plugin is causing that, then you may install a query monitor plugin to check if there are Rank Math queries slowing down your site. After that, you could share some screenshots of the differences so we can check on our end.

That is not a file. That is an HTML comment and they are, well, comments. A comment does not affect page speed and I am not really feeling confident about your theme provider if they think an HTML comment is causing a slowdown.
Feel free to disable Rank Math temporarily and see if it makes any difference for your page load. Then you will know for sure what is behind the lag.
