Imported Products . SEO Details

    Hi.

    We´ve a site that lists a lot of products – that all comes from an import tool. All products are / will be created and updated via this import. So – none of this products will ever be edited by hand.

    But – as far as I know this is still needed for RM to generate the SEO details / score. Without it these products are falling out of Your statistics.

    Is there a way or are already thoughts at Your side how to handle this in the future. I think this ‘problem’ is something a lot of shops – that handle a lot of products – facing.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    About the SEO details like the title and meta description, you can set it in the WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta, settings a global meta using vars and it should be mostly automated.

    About the score, since it needs to run a custom JS to calculate the score, it can be done only in the Edit Post/Page screen, so right now there is no way to get the updated score without entering the edit screen and saving the post/page (but we are analyzing for possible solutions in the future).

    Looking forward to this solution! For everything above 100 products or products that come in via an importer it´s no option to safe them ‘by hand’ – again.

    Hello,

    Since the Rank Math plugin uses completely different metrics to analyze the content, it is not wise/possible to import the scores from your previous plugin.

    You can follow the following guide to reach 100:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/score-100-in-tests/

    But please stay advised that these tests are just guidelines and one does not need to follow them religiously.

    At the end of the day, the content needs to be written for the readers and not for the search engines.

    Scoring higher points in Rank Math’s tests won’t guarantee higher rankings.

    Please edit the product pages only if needed, do not edit them just for the scores.

    Thank You for Your feedback – but that missed the point. Alberto already answered my question. It is a thread to ask ‘is this already possible any way I don´t now’ and notice to keep this ‘problem’ on Your screens.
