  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you are facing issues with images disappearing from Google search results for your posts. This can be frustrating, but we can help you troubleshoot this.

There could be several reasons why your images are not showing up in the search results. One common reason could be related to the indexing of your images by Google. If Google has not indexed your images yet, they may not appear in search results.

To address this issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check Indexing Status: Verify if Google has indexed your images by searching for site:yourwebsite.com in Google. This will show you all the pages and images indexed by Google from your site.

    2. Submit URLs to Google: You can use tools like the Instant Indexing plugin for Google to submit your URLs directly to Google for indexing.

    3. Check Sitemap: Ensure that your sitemap includes image URLs and is up to date. You can submit your sitemap to Google Search Console to help Google discover and index your images.

If after trying these steps, the issue persists, please provide us with your website URL so we can investigate further and provide more specific assistance.

If you need further help or have additional questions, feel free to reach out to our dedicated support team here. We are available 24/7 to assist you.

Thank you for reaching out, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue for you.

    Hello,

Thanks for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused you.

Please note that Rank Math doesn’t have control over how images in the Search Engine Result are displayed and search engines display them as per their will and it mostly depends on the keyword search term and the website authority.

However, you may try to add relevant ALT text to the featured image or image you wanted to show, and chances are search engines will refer to it.

Here’s a guide you can follow as well:

    Looking forward to helping you.

I already applied all this rules and the images were displayed and they suddenly disappeared. Don’t know what to do.

    Hello,

We understand how frustrating it can be to have images disappear from Google search results despite following best practices.

Sometimes, images may be temporarily de-indexed due to technical issues or errors. It’s essential to monitor your website’s indexing status in Google Search Console and address any reported issues promptly.

Ensure that your images and surrounding content are relevant to the search queries you’re targeting. Google may prioritize displaying images that are closely aligned with user intent and search context.

You can review the Coverage report in Google Search Console to identify any indexing errors or issues related to your images.

Double-check the URLs of the missing images to ensure they are accessible and correctly formatted. Ensure there are no restrictions (such as noindex tags) preventing Google from indexing them.

We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns.

    Thank you.
