  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    1. Yes, duplicate meta titles, and other meta can’t be good for SEO.

    2. It doesn’t matter if your image has links on them or not; it doesn’t affect your SEO performance, but if you plan on removing them, Rank Math can’t help you remove existing links on images. You need it to remove manually inside your content (depending on how your images are generated from your current theme).

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Many thanks for replying…I’ll maybe do a quick search for a plugin to help, or perhaps leave it. There are 1000’s of posts that seem to have this erroneous format. When we implemented a theme change earlier this year, all recent posts went over fine, and looked exactly how we wanted it, its just older posts we didnt have cause to check, seem to have this weird format. Maybe the older theme was incompatible? Could that be possible?

    Hello,

I am sorry that there is nothing we can do.

The images are enclosed in a link tag<a href="link" ><img /></a> and the only way to have them not open the other page is to remove the enclosing href tag. You will have to either modify this on your pages or find a way to code the link out of your pages.

    Hope this helps.
