Image sitemap compatibility with Cornerstone page builder

    I would like to report a general issue when using the Cornerstone page builder from Themeco.

    When the option to include images in sitemaps is selected, none of the images on a page which are created using Cornerstone are included in the sitemap.

    I have test using a page created with the WordPress standard editor and images inserted on the page are detected and listed correctly as expected.

    I believe that Yoast is able to do this with Cornerstone so I think it should be possible.

    All the requirements for an image to be included in the sitemap have been met.
    This works fine in the WordPress page editor, just not for pages created using Cornerstone.

    SEO is of course vital and so this is an important issue for users of Cornerstone who choose RankMath.

    I appreciate this may take time to resolve and will need cooperation with the theme author (ThemeCo).

    Hello,

    Please note that Rank Math will only be able to add the images to the sitemap if the image is included in the post’s actual content or post_content. If the image is not inside that meta, then the insertion of images to the sitemap will not work.

    If that’s not the case, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
