Image permalinks redirected to homepage

    Hi guys,

    I have an issue with my image permalinks.
    I keep them in yearl-month folders and embedding them into my pages works very well. But when I try to use the permalink displayed in the image details, I get constantly redirected to my homepage.

    So when I type in domain.com/uploads/year/month/image-name.png it works.
    When I type in the permalink domain.com/image-name/ then I get redirected to my homepage domain.com/

    How can I solve that, so I can use the permalinks of the images, for e.g. in my mail-signature?

    Please head over to Rank math > General Settings > Links and make sure you have not enabled the option to redirect attachments. If you have enabled this, please disable it and let us know if the issue persists. You can also share some of the image URLs in the sensitive section so we can check from our end.

    One of the helpful features in Yoast was that attachment pages could be set to redirect to the attachment itself. This was especially useful for orphan files, such as PDFs. Is this option not available in RankMath? The attachment redirect options I see are not accomplishing this.

    Hello,

    The current options are to redirect the attachment files to the page where they are attached or redirect orphan pages(this is usually set to homepage):

    You can also use the redirection module for advanced/custom redirection options
