Image Number in SiteMap – important or not?

    Hi. Only been using Rankmath for a few days. Moved from Yoast Pro.
    Question: Just looking at the sitemaps page for my site. It has a column called “images”. Is the number in there in any way important?
    I ask, because for example my home page has images on it, but in the sitemap it says zero! I think this is because most of my homepage is designed in the theme side (ProPhoto7) rather than in the wordpress editor. So it can’t see them. Does that matter at all?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Meanwhile, we don’t have support for all the website builders (yet) since they need to add some code to make them compatible (and maybe that is the cause some of your images are not being detected), it shouldn’t be an issue for you, since if Google doesn’t have the images in the sitemap, once it enter in the page you have in the sitemap and crawls its content, it will detect the images and index them.
